Figure of Speech

Project Figure Of Speech includes 9 forms derived from two basic triangles and a rectangle at their base. The matching dimensions and geom- etry of the pieces creates number or compositions which were used traditionally within the structural architectural forms.

Projects focuses on mixing contemporary and traditional methods of craft to recreate Elements from architecture. The 3D printed Elements are systematically Create as a negative part of a mold system. While the plaster pieces are replicas of the 3D tiling system the 3D printed pieces filling the negative space are the elements that have not been studied yet.
