The hanging garden

Mirror wall installation explores themes around time, repetition and storytelling in connection to nature. The subject of garden, mirror mosaic collages from Persian architecture, and Midsummer flower collection tradition in Finland are used to embody the working theme. The Inlay pattern is composed and produced through collection and dry-pressing wildflowers during the summer, the pressed flowers were later scanned and traced as digital patterns to create composition. These reflective panels create projections in space using spotlight placing spectators within art work.
