Mirror Mirror

Reflective inlay instalation that explores the space between the wild Finnish forest rituals and the geometric principles of the persian rug. The subject of garden, mirror mosaic collages from Persian architecture, and Midsummer flower collection tradition in Finland. The Inlay flower pattern is composed and produced by collection of pressed flowers from the Finnish landscape during the summer which are digitized and used in making collages. The core of This work is about creating intimacy and playing with our perception of space, self and identity.
